The first festival after I arrived will come next Monday. It is the Labor Day. I originally thought that the Labor day is the May 1st worldwide, so when I heard of that, feeling a little unexpected. I will have a long weekend, no classes on Monday. Actually, there are many activities, such as welcoming the new students in village which provides free lunch, dinner and KaLa OK. And also exciting football games on Monday night, against Univ. of Miami. There are usually many activities during the the first semester, which is similar as when I entered the college and graduate school later. I recalled that we went outing in Sen Lin Park, and tried to get to know new classmates. But the feelings are different when people get older. However, is it a good chance to know new friends? However, the things that I have to do first is finishing the homework and preparing for the courses.
These days, I get used to use the computer in lots of libraries on campus, doing homework and contacting my friends. The computer can be only used for browsing, checking emails and the most important, learning. And also it cannot type in Chinese. But I can browse the Chinese news. I have no laptops. It is funny that one girl used QQ when we were having classes, the QQ message alert sound came out!! I bought a dell laptop online, and it will be delivered in two weeks later. (Some classmates suggest me to buy Macbook, but too expensive.) The best way for me, is to adapt to the life without a personal computer.
Best regards to all my friends.
